New Year. New Beginnings.

Happy New Year first and foremost. I can’t believe 2013 is here already, and January is almost over. Already so much has happened.

First, I’m employed again. Yay! This will mean less writing time, but at least work will enable me to take the family on holidays more often and for me to attend writing conferences. So, there are lots of positives to go with the negatives.

I’m subbing my latest novella, A Summer in Somerset and hopefully I’ll be able to find it a good home. This story is a little controversial so I’m not sure what people will think of it or the publishers for that matter. Eeekk.

Come April first the second book in my Daughters of the Gods series, GUARDIAN will be released. I’ve been having great reviews and feedback on book one, BANISHED which I’m so stoked about. It’s nice having an indie published book people are enjoying. So thank you to everyone who’s downloaded it and left reviews. I really appreciate it.

I’ve also decided this year to submit to agents again. I have a new dark paranormal romance I’m working on. It’s quite different to what I normally write, and it’s in first person, so we’ll see if anyone likes it enough to pick me up. I live in hope.

I’m also reworking my Regency series and hoping to keep these for agent submission as well. Again, I live in hope. ;p

I hope everyone had a fantastic Christmas and New Year and I look forward to sharing with you all the ups and downs this year will no doubt bring.
