Well, the week is young yet so much has happened. Today I signed a publishing contract for my Regency novella (currently titled) ‘A Marriage Made in Mayfair’ with Decadent Publishing!
*insert happy dancing*
I’m very pleased to see this novella published as last year was anything but easy for me when it came to writing. I had so many great things happen last year, had an amazing, supportive, talented critique partner, landed an fantastic mentor through RWA chapter The Beau Monde (still don’t know how I managed that), and fell pregnant and had our first daughter Lily in Oct. Yet, even with all these wonderful things, I couldn’t write, and yes, you better believe it, it took me a year to finish this story. It was a novella, peeps and yet I struggled. Terribly so. But I’m back at it and my muse is chatting to me again so watch this space for more news during the year.
So, as you can probably imagine I’m stoked that my lovely Suzanna and Royce will have their story told. Now, all I have to hope is you’ll love them as much as I do. Here’s the (current) blurb to wet your appetite.
